CAR crashes and complaints about grit bins dogged the Tandridge district.
A pick-up truck blocked Chalkpit Lane, Oxted, on Friday after it ended up on its side. No one was hurt.
A two-car crash in Stafford Road, Caterham, on Sunday lunchtime resulted in one vehicle sliding off the road and plunging down a slope, towards homes.
A car overturned in White Lane, Titsey, near Warlingham, also on Sunday.
Firefighters from Godstone were alerted. By the time they reached the scene the stricken male driver was being treated by paramedics after cutting his hand.
Alun Jones, of Milner Approach, tweeted the Mirror to lament that his road's grit bin had been empty when Friday's snow came down.
Another Caterham resident similarly vented his spleen over an angry grit container in Commonwealth Road.
Meanwhile, Oxted town centre was a scene of near-desolation on Sunday morning. At Oxted Station no ticket office windows were open, and the lack of a ticket collector meant the barriers were left open.
Police in Tandridge clearly had not lost their sense of humour. A warning on the Tandridge Beat Facebook page said people should grasp the difference between "good old-fashioned snowballing" and assault, or criminal damage.
It advised: "Stick to making rude shapes out of snow ... It makes us all giggle and keeps you out of mischief."
