OXTED Hockey Club are gearing up for a long trip north after being drawn away against Cheshire side Lymm in the quarter-finals of the Investec Women's Vase.
The O's, who beat West Hampstead 4-1 at Oxted County School yesterday (Sunday), were handed the tie today (Monday) against a Lymm side who currently sit top of the Cheshire Women's League Division One.
But O's skipper Lisa Nightingale said the girls would travel north in good spirits as they look to retain the title they won for the first time last year.
She said: "It is not ideal in terms of how far we have to travel, but we will probably go up the night before and stay over.
"And it will be nice to play a different team.
"We will go there on the back of a good team performance yesterday in the third round and hopefully we can take that into that game."
Nightingale admitted that on paper it looks a tough task for the O's, who currently sit second in the Surrey Premier Division.
However, she said confidence was high in the Oxted camp, adding that they would love to replicate last season's success again this year.
The quarter-final tie is due to be played on Sunday, March 10.
