Caterham's annual Bunny Run, due to take place this morning, was called off due to the bad weather.
More than 30 fun runners of all ages, many in fancy dress, were expected to take part at Queens Park, off Church Hill.
The event - a one kilometre fun run and five kilometre jog - was raising money for St Catherine's Hospice.
The main organisers Caterham Rotary Club said in a statement yesterday: "We are really sorry but because of the weather conditions we have had to cancel both runs.
"It is likely to be icy in the morning and we don't want people to fall and injure themselves.
"We will try to re-arrange the runs on a Sunday in about a month's time and will carry entries forward to that date."
