TRAIN users should expect delays of up to 30 minutes on services between East Grinstead, Uckfield and Oxted station after reports that a lorry hit a bridge.
According to British Transport Police and Network Rail, the lorry hit the bridge at Barrow Green Road in Oxted at about 9.15 this morning.
An operations manager from Network Rail attended to inspect the underside of the bridge and determined there was no damage and the service was resumed at 9.40.
A spokesman for Network Rail said that while services had been resumed passengers may still experience delays.
Surrey Police and British Transport Police were unable to provide any information on the vehicle or the condition of the driver.
