Bletchingley Church Tower Open Day
On Sunday 21st April, there will be a great opportunity to climb the new spiral staircase in the church tower to see the bells that are housed in the tower, the 1787 working clock, and finally the wonderful views from the top of the tower – views up to the North Downs and as far as Gatwick Airport and beyond to the south, and of course the village of Bletchingley spread out below.
There will also be opportunities to find out about the bells and how they are rung, to try ringing one and to see them in action on closed circuit TV.
All this will take place after Sunday morning worship, Sunday 21st April, from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm; refreshments and Ploughman's lunches available.
