THOUSANDS of pounds worth of cigarettes were stolen from a shop in Godstone.
Detectives are appealing for information following the break-in at Londis store on Godstone High Street just before 3.30am on Wednesday, April 3.
Two offenders broke into store after forcing entry to the front door.
The men are described as around 5ft 10in in height, of medium build and wearing blue hooded tops with grey balaclavas.
It is believed the men arrived and left the scene in a dark coloured Audi.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Heather Francis from East Surrey CID, said: "I would appeal to anyone who saw a dark coloured Audi being driven in the area around the time the offence took place to contact us with information.
"I would ask anyone who has seen anything suspicious around the store in days or weeks prior to the offence taking place as it is likely that the offenders had planned this burglary in some detail."
Local officers from the Tandridge Safer Neighbourhood Team are assisting detectives by making enquiries in the area.
At this stage in the investigation it is not believed that this incident is linked to any other store burglaries where cigarettes have been taken.
Anyone with information on this offence is urged to contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting reference TD/13/1527 or the impendent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
