Man killed while walking on M25 hard shoulder at Godstone is named

THE MAN who died while walking down the hard shoulder of the M25 near Godstone last week has been named. Nahinmu Okafor Nicholas, 53, who lived in Dartford, Kent, was killed in the early hours of April 10 after the car he was a passenger in - a Ford Focus - stopped in a live lane of traffic. Mr Nicholas, originally from Nigeria, got out and was walking along the hard shoulder when a white Renault lorry collided with the stationary Ford Focus and then struck Mr Nicholas. The other occupant of the car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
