SIGNALLING problems are causing up to 20-minute delays to trains running between Redhill and Reigate.
First Great Western said "a problem with line-side equipment at Redhill" is forcing trains to run at reduced speeds on all lines. They could not say when the problem would be rectified.
Southern said their trains through the station were not being affected.
It comes after delays on the Southern line south of Gatwick this morning. A person was hit by a train at Hassocks, causing 30-minute delays to services. However, normal service is expected to be resumed from 2.30pm.
