Singers see the writing on the Wall
Hurst Green Singers returned to rehearsals after their Easter break, preparing to perform one of Handel's most dramatic oratorios - "Belshazzar" - retelling the story of how the wicked king of Babylon, 'saw the writing on the wall' and was overthrown by the Persian Cyrus in 539BC.

Hurst Green Singers, together with 5 soloists, will be joined for the occasion by Shoreham Singers and accompanied by the Hurst Green Sinfonietta.
