THE Tories have eight seats, one residents' association candidate retained his spot, and a Green Party hopeful made a breakthrough once all winners were announced in Reigate and Banstead, for Surrey County Council seats.
The Conservative county councillors are:
Ken Gulati (Banstead, Woodmansterne and Chipstead)
Barbara Thomson (Earlswood and Reigate South)
Bob Gardner (Merstham and Banstead South)
Kay Hammond (Horley West)
Dorothy Ross-Tomlin (Horley East)
Natalie Bramhall (Redhill West and Meadvale)
Zully Grant-Duff (Reigate)
Michael Gosling (Tadworth, Walton and Kingswood)
Nick Harrison took Nork and Tattenhams for Residents' Association and Jonathan Essex took Redhill East for the Green Party.
It means the Liberal Democrats now have no county council seats in this part of Surrey.
In the Reigate and Banstead Borough Council by-election for South Park and Woodhatch, Conservative Simon Rickman took the seat by just 28 votes from Ukip candidate Joseph Fox.
