UKIP claimed the final division announced in Surrey to bring their total number of councillors to three.
All results are now in, and the political map of Surrey is bluer than before.
The Conservatives bucked the national trend. They claimed 58 councillors out of 81 seats - a rise from 54 out of the previous 80 seats.
It was also a good day for the Green Party, which claimed its first seat with Redhill East's Jonathan Essex, and Ukip, who now have three councillors, including Helena Windsor in Godstone.
The Lib Dems are the biggest losers, with their representation falling from 13 to 9.
Final result: 58 Conservative, 9 Liberal Democrats, 9 Residents' Associations/Independents, 3 UKIP, 1 Labour and 1 The Green Party.
