In order to attract new bowlers, members of Caterham Bowling Club went along to Church Walk Shopping Centre in Caterham on the first Friday and Saturday in May.
There was a small display together with a supply of leaflets drawing attention to their first two open days, 5th and 11th May when anybody, regardless of age and physical ability will be welcomed.The club is situated in Queens Park in Caterham-on-the-Hill and the green is open for play from 12 o'clock every day. Facilities include a pavilion with a licensed bar, lounge, dining room, kitchen, changing rooms and toilets, including one for anybody unfortunate enough to be disabled. New bowlers can avail themselves of 6 free lessons before deciding whether or not to join.The Church Walk Shopping Centre manager, Shelley Filippi, would like to thanks members of the public for their support of this event.
