On Bank Holiday Monday, May 27, from 1pm to 4pm, Gatton Community Theatre, in conjunction with The Gatton Trust, are hosting a Fairytale Treasure Hunt in Gatton Park, with entry to the event via Rocky Lane.
The initiative provides children with the opportunity to join characters from well known fairy tales, and follow their clues in a treasure hunt around the beautiful park grounds. This is ideal entertainment for families, and younger children, the route being easy for pushchairs, and approximately a mile and a half in duration. Patrons are encouraged to take along their own picnics, if so desired, although tea and fairy cakes will be available at Gatton Hall at the end of the treasure hunt.
