ATHLETICS: Dorking & Mole Valley Athletics Club finished fourth in the first match of the Southern Women's Track & Field League at Erith.
In the U15 Bea Allan had a good 800m, winning in a personal best of 2mins 27.05secs, finishing first in the 'B' 200m in 30.4 with Becky Loomes winning the 'A' race in 28.8.
In a non-scoring long jump Loomes had a PB of 4.36m and Allan jumped 3.92m.
Louise Ionascu (W40) placed second in the 1500m (5.31.2), 3000m (11.48.7 secs) and the long jump 3.18m (fourth 'B').
Zoe Shannon overtook the leader in the 400m (65.8 secs), coming third in the 100m (14.4) and 200m (30.4).
Lucy Hobbs came third in the 'B' 200m (31.4), first in the 'B' 400m (72.2 ) and fourth in the 'A' 800m (2.45.7). Jane Wilcox placed third 'B' in the 100m (15.6) and third 'A' in the long jump (4.01m).
In the throws she finished third with 23.13m in the 'A' hammer, third in the shot put (6.50m) and first 'B' in the discus (16.73m).
Kasia Kublik-Okon won the discus with 30.55 metres, was first 'B' in the hammer (20.53m) and second 'B' in the shot put (5.96m). In the 4x100m DMV were fourth in 62.2, winning the 4x400m.
Luke Caldwell had two wins in the mountain west championships in Las Vegas. He won the 5000m in 14.30 and the 10,000m in 30.27.7. He qualified for the NCCA Championships in June.
