A WOMAN has been threatened with a knife as part of an aggravated burglary in Woldingham.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the incidents at a property in Slines Oak Road.
The incident occurred during the early hours of Wednesday(May 22), when around five or six men entered the property and woke the occupant, a woman in her mid-20s, before threatening her with a knife.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Ian Cherrington, said: "At this stage in the investigation I believe the property was targeted as the offenders made specific demands to the occupant which would suggest they had been planning this incident for some time.
"I would appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the days and weeks leading up to the burglary, in particular I would like information on a black motorcycle which has recently been seen by several people in the area.
"I would also ask anyone who has suspicions around someone they know who they believe may be connected to this offence to contact police.
"Did a partner or friend leave home late last night and return in the early hours? Has someone you know been acting out of character recently and do they match the description of the offenders? If the answer is yes, please contact detectives with information."
At this stage in the investigation nothing is believed to have been stolen.
The offenders are described as black men, with London accents. One of the men was wearing a balaclava with the others wearing hooded tops.
Witnesses are asked to call police on 101 quoting reference TD/13/2396 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
