The Great British Bag-athon event held by Woking Shopping in aid of the British Heart Foundation received 161 bags of items which could generate over £3,000 for the charity as the donated items will now go on to be sold in BHF shops in the local area.
Martin Pooley, Operations Director at Woking Shopping said, "Thanks to all the Woking community who took part in the Bag-athon challenge and donated bags, it really will make an enormous difference to the thousands of people in our region who suffer from heart disease."
