£5900 Raised at OpenGardens Day
Oxted One World Group raised £5900 at its annual Open Gardens Day held on Bank Holiday Monday, 27 May.
The Group would like to thank all its supporters who attended the event, the garden owners who opened their gardens, those who helped organise the day and the local businesses and members who sold tickets in advance. 6 gardens in Oxted, Limpsfield and Itchingwood Common were open to the public with teas on sale at two of the gardens and plants available at a third one as well as tickets for a raffle. Luckily the weather was good and the threatened rain did not arrive until after the Open Gardens Day. The Group's Committee will now decide which overseas aid projects to support with the money raised.
