A PEDESTRIAN has died after being hit by a lorry on the M3 at Lightwater.
The London-bound carriageway is closed at junction three but a diversion is in place.
Surrey Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision early this morning.
Officers were called at 12.01am today to a report of a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian on the London-bound carriageway of the M3 at junction three. The pedestrian was declared deceased at the scene.
A vehicle was found parked nearby with the lights turned off and it is believed that this belongs to the pedestrian.
