Learn about the work of a charity supporting wild animals around the world at an event at the South Street Wine Bar, this Monday.
Speaker Will Travers, of the Born Free Foundation, will talk about the charity's campaigns to ban the ivory trade and the hunting of lions, their work to rescue animals from tiny cages and return them to the wild, and the education projects they run to inspire youngsters to respect and protect their local wildlife.
The event, which begins at 7.30pm, has been jointly organised by the foundation and the Surrey Green Party.
Tickets are £15 and include a finger buffet as well as four tasting glasses of Born Free Foundation's organic wines.
