The front window of the Co-op store at Warlingham Green was smashed during a smash and grab last night.
Thieves broke the plate-glass window to gain access and steal a haul of cigarettes from the kiosk.
A near-neighbour said: "I saw two police vehicles outside the store.
"Cigarettes were scattered across the pavement and there was a large person-sized hole in the window."
