YOU would be confused if you saw a lion in a suit wouldn't you?
How about a zebra in a ballgown?
Well it appears the same applies the other way round.
Chessington World of Adventures Resort has put a zero-tolerance ban on people wearing animal print because it confuses the animals.
Zookeepers at the resort noticed a trend with animals reacting to people wearing animal print - either trying to communicate with them or running away.
The ban, which is being enforced by special animal print bouncers, comes following the launch of Zufari: Ride Into Africa, an African-inspired safari in a 22-acre off-road trail, where visitors meet animals including giraffes and white rhinos.
Natalie Dilloway, a Zufari spokeswoman said: "Since the launch of Zufari, guests have interacted with the animals more closely than ever before and we have noticed a lot of animals becoming baffled by animal-print-wearing guests."
Chessington say the ban will stay in place while the animals are "desensitised" to human wearing animal print.
Staff were concerned the animals, which have been conditioned to expect what they would see in the wild, were flummoxed by what must have appeared to be leopards travelling in a truck.
