POLICE say a fire in Horley this morning which destroyed three vehicles may have been arson.
Detectives from East Surrey CID are still investigating the cause of the blaze, which destroyed three vehicles this morning.
Officers were called at around 4am to the fire which is thought to have started in the bin area at the rear of the Khushboo restaurant, on the Balcombe Road.
It then spread to, and completely destroyed, three vehicles.
Crews from both Horley Fire Station and Reigate Fire Station attended the incident.
A Horley crew member said: "It did not make it to any of the buildings so we managed to stop it."
Investigating officer detective constable Karen Scholey, said: "At this stage in the investigation we are making a number of enquiries to establish how this fire was started.
"At the moment it is believed the fire may have been started deliberately but this has not been confirmed which is why we need anyone with information to contact us as a matter of urgency."
