Firefighters freed a young child who was trapped in a flat in Woodhatch this afternoon (Thursday).
The crew from Reigate fire station were called to the property at about 2.30pm and used an extension ladder to reach an open kitchen window.
The child's mother was then able to access the flat.
Firefighters remained on the scene for about 20 minutes.
