A MAN has been taken to hospital after suffering 20 per cent burns to his body following a garage fire in Hamsey Green, Warlingham.
An explosion was heard in Warlingham this morning at the Ken's Autos garage in Limpsfield Road.
Thirty-five firefighters were at the scene from 11.20am, tackling the blaze which engulfed half the workshop.
The casualty is believed to be being treated at St George's Hospital in Tooting.
This is the second fire to break out at the garage in six months.
A blaze in January caused damage to the workshop and a car was gutted.
