BOXING: Battlebridge Boxing Club travelled to Hampton Court last week with three boxers on the bill with mixed results.

First up was Nathan Mizon who faced Louis Roncari of St Pancreas ABC. Mizon came out with total dominance in the first round using combinations and switch hitting, which also carried on into the second round. In the third round Mizon picked up the pace and power leaving the judges no option but to declare him the winner.

Next up was Ben Reeves, who faced Tom Dilloway of Westside ABC. Reeves came out slow but tried to pick up the pace. Club coaches told him to follow his punches in and close down Dilloway's reach but in the third round Reeves got caught with a big shot and the bout was ended with Reeves receiving a total knock out.

Last bout of the night was an Elite contest between Yannick Foh and Archie Hutchings of Westside ABC. Hutchings is an England boxer with more than 60 bouts under his belt but this did not deter Yannick who boxed well throughout the three rounds. He managed to make Hutchings use his reach and experience to come out the winner on points.

This Saturday the club travel to Oxon with Livvie Furner who is competing in a Female Box Cup.
