A FLOOD warning remains in place for homes around the Walton area today (Wednesday).
The Environment Agency said this morning the River Thames levels remain high and could rise further tonight and throughout the week.
Properties close to the river at Sunbury from Walton Bridge to Kenton Court Meadows, including Wheatley'sEyot and Sunbury Lock, could be flooded, the Agency said.
And areas to the north of the Thames including Longwood Business Park and Kempton Park Race Course are at risk.
The less serious Flood Alert also remains from Shepperton to West and East Molesey including areas around Hamm Court, Walton-on-Thames and Sunbury.
The river has spilt out onto flood plains in some locations.
