THE branch of NatWest in Redhill town centre has been forced to turn away dozens of customers because of a powercut.
Builders accidentally cut through a power cable at around 9.15am, leaving the Station Road bank unable to carry out its usual services.
The computers are down as well as the cash machines outside the bank.
Customers are being told to go to another branch or use the ATM of a different bank.
One of the few services cashiers can carry out is cashing cheques.
The disruption is likely to last a few hours.
A sign inside the branch said: "due to unforeseen circumstances, we have experienced a loss of power so we are only able to offer limited services. Sorry for the inconvenience caused. We hope to resume full services as soon as possible."
