CARNIVAL cricket comes to Banstead from July 1 as part of a new initiative by the England and Wales Cricket Board to encourage the retention of teenage cricketers within their club
The NatWest T20 U19 competition arrives at Avenue Road on Tuesday, July 1, 6pm start, when the Banstead Rams take on the SRK Hurricanes.
The competition aims to bring the razzmatazz of the T20 format of cricket at county and international level into club cricket.
Other home fixtures are against the Ashtead Bucks on July 8, Sutton Scorchers on July 21, and Addiscombe Academy on July 22. All matches start at 6pm.
