A LIGHTNING strike overnight has caused signal problems on Southern Rail's Uckfield Line.
There is a reduced service running this morning while Network Rail carry out repairs.
The Uckfield line trains stop at Surrey stations including Hurst Green, Oxted and Woldingham.
Delays of up to 15 minutes are being reported.
Rail replacement buses are running between Uckfield and Haywards Heath and between Uckfield and Tunbridge Wells calling at Buxted, Crowbrough and Eridge.
Southestern and First Capital Connect will accept Southern ticket holders on some routes.
In other travel news, traffic is building on the M25 at Clacket Lane services due to usual rush hour congestion.
There is heavy traffic on M25 clockwise between J10, A3 (Wisley Interchange) and J11, A317 (Chertsey).
