Surrey Championship Division Four Old Emanuel 218-6 Oxted & Limpsfield 128-3 Winning draw for Old Emanuel IN A reduced overs match, Oxted & Limsfield could only manage a losing draw against league leaders Old Emanuel. Oxted won the toss and elected to bowl, opener Arvind Maan being caught for unlucky 13 by Alex Pizzey off the bowling of Ross Powell. Kshitiz Sharma was the next to go for six runs after Andy Starling caught him, again of the bowling of Powell. Abdul Wakeel was finally caught for 59 but a hefty 74 for Rehan Mansoor added weight to the home side's innings. Umer Hassan (4) and Harry Cronshaw (0) both went cheaply but 37 not out for Mansoor Naeem and 15 not out for Khizer Ahmed saw Emanuel to 218-6 in their 50 overs. Powell took three wickets for 53. Restricted to 39 overs after rain, Oxted had an uphill struggle but opener Simon Jackson contributed 21 runs alongside skipper Stuart Fletcher who made a half century (52) before being trapped lbw. Alex Pizzey added 13 but Oxted were rapidly running out of overs with Michael Adamson finishing unbeaten on 26 and Andy Starling on 6 not out, as the visitors finished at 128-3 from their restricted overs.
