ARMED police swooped on a house in Caterham on Saturday (12) morning.
They were called at shortly before 9.30 following reports of a "concern for safety".
Two men were arrested and were later released without charge.
An eye witness said: "There were lots of police in Coulsdon Road.
"Most of them seemed to be carrying guns, although they were just milling about rather than doing anything with them."
Inspector Angie Austin from the Tandridge Safer Neighbourhood Team said: "I would like to reassure the community that no-one was hurt during the incident and there is no risk to the wider public."
