The victim of the Godstone rapist has told of the "horror" of that evening.
The 31-year-old was attacked by bogus taxi driver Paul Michael Causer on August 3 last year in a remote spot in Bone Mill Lane.
Causer, 39, from Deptford in south London, was jailed for 11 years at the Old Bailey on Thursday.
He picked up his victim after she had a night out in Shoreditch, east London.
Now she has warned others about how they must ensure they stay safe on a night out
She said: "The past year has been a nightmare.
"I am now grateful it is all over but the message I would like to remind people is not to get into an unlicensed taxi.
"Despite being aware of the warnings, this was never something that I thought would happen to me.
"The horror of that night will affect me for the rest of my life."
