A GROUP of school parents have put their best feet forward to boost a cancer charity.
Eight mums – and one aunt – of children at Dormansland Primary School raised £415 by taking part in the Race For Life at Crawley's Tilgate Park on June 18.
They dressed in pink tutus for their run.
Money-spinning events at the school, including a mufti day, sports day and ploughman's lunches, brought the overall total raised to £1,014.84.
A cheque for the amount was presented at the school on July 21 to a representative from the Cancer Research charity.
The magnificent nine were Sarah Vedor, Terri Parkinson, Syretha Tilley, Nicola O'Riordan, Jo Walls, Sarah Morden, Amanda Lampkin, Aysha Degia and Lisa Glanz.
