Pupils and senior staff will meet on Monday to thrash out plans for Oxted School to become an academy.
The controversial proposals led to the formation of the Oxted Against Academy Facebook page which already has 1,079 members.
Students will meet school governors and leaders at 1.35pm in the main hall to hear about the plans, and then ask questions.
Governors have put forwards plans to progress towards foundation status, and eventually become an academy.

A consultation on the plans is open until February 4.
