A THIEF stole a luxury car after grabbing keys through the letterbox of the owner's house.
A white man wearing a cap was seen driving the black Mercedes away from the property on Charlwood Drive in Leatherhead.
Police believe the thief never entered the property, and officers are reminding people not to leave their car keys near doors, where they can be easily taken by criminals.
The theft took place around 4.45am on December 21 and anyone with information on the incident or the whereabouts of the car should contact Surrey Police on 101 quoting EL/12/8365 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
