Box Hill is set to become a reality TV star after members of the Made in Chelsea cast were seen filming there last week.
Viewers of the hit E4 show are more accustomed to seeing the young socialites in West London's most exclusive cocktail bars and nightclubs, but it seems producers knew just the spot for a change of scenery and an idyllic rural backdrop.
And while Michelin-starred restaurants may be their usual dining choice, stars Spencer Matthews, Jamie Laing and BinkyFelstead were more than happy to take a break from filming in the National Trust café last Thursday.
Andrew Wright, the National Trust Countryside Manager at Box Hill, said he is not a regular viewer of the programme, but did see some of the filming taking place.
"I'm not sure what the storyline was, to be honest," he said.
"A lot of our staff were very excited though and stood watching for a while."
"They're all pretty people, including the blokes," he added.
Scenes were filmed from the Box Hill viewpoint, on the Donkey Green and along the "play trail" which runs through the woodland in the beauty spot.
The cast were later spotted enjoying a drink at The Running Horses pub in Mickleham.
