YOUTH FOOTBALL: Oxted U15s beat Tulse Hill Royals 4-3 away last weekend in a pulsating encounter.
A long-range shot from Tulse Hill gave them the lead, which they doubled a minute later. Oxted responded with a free-kick just outside the penalty area, Joel O'Brien beat the wall and, as the goalkeeper hesitated, the ball rolled towards the goal with Spencer Clements making sure.
From the restart Kyle Johnston took the ball around the keeper to equalise.
Tulse Hill went ahead again at the start of the second half.
This was short-lived as Oxted levelled courtesy of a low and hard shot by Johnston.
Oxted were in full flight and a stunning goal gave them the lead they deserved when James Heyburn volleyed the ball across the front of the penalty area to Will Beckwith, who netted.
