LACROSSE: On Sunday Reigate Priory Lacrosse Club's U13 Dragonflies played their final tournament of the season at Cobham.
Despite drawing against Hatch End, with two fabulous goals from Lucy Martin and Tia Appea, they lost by only one goal to St Paul's who were the overall winner, as well as losing to Cobham. Dragonflies finished joint third overall.
"At today's tournament we had a younger, and overall less experienced team, who showed how far they have come since the start of the season," said delighted team manager Andy Newbold.
"This tournament was a great opportunity to demonstrate the skills they have been learning and give them the confidence to start the new season in September with determination and enthusiasm."
