CUSTOMERS of a kitchen appliance shop were entertained at a cooking demo day.
RDO, based temporarily in Salfords, hosted the event, which involved demonstrations by Neff, a German manufacturer of kitchen appliances.
Visitors to the store enjoyed some cooking and advice, while also taking advantage of competitions and giveaways.
Neff's home economist, Sue Hawkes, demonstrated how to cook with a Neff Slide & Hide oven, an induction hob and a steam combination oven. She also answered visitors' cooking questions.
Showroom manager Tracy Milton said; 'This is the first event we have held since our temporary move from Reigate while our main showroom has a complete refurbishment.
"The weather was glorious, but we did wonder if people would travel over to us.
"We needn't have worried as, within ten minutes of opening, our car park was nearly full.
"The feedback from people who attended the event was amazing.
"We even had someone travel from Cardiff to come along on the day.
"I think I can safely say that's the furthest anyone has come to attend one of our event days."
RDO has promised a future demonstration day.
