Lord Sebastian Coe will officially unveil Farnham Rugby clubs new clubhouse on Sunday.
Lord Coe, who is know the Olympics Legacy Ambassador, will open the new clubhouse at 2pm with around 180 guests.
On opening the clubs new home, Lord Coe said, "I am delighted and honoured to have been invited to open the new club house at Farnham rugby club. We salute the efforts of a community-focussed club to deliver facilities that will certainly inspire a generation of young people to choose sport as a way of life. Congratulations to you all."
Also to mark the occasion members of the Harlequins squad will arrive with the Aviva Premiership trophy and meet Farnham's junior players.
Following the opening of the new clubhouse, Farnham's 1st team will take on a Surrey Presidents XV.
Chairman Geoff Robins said, 'We are delighted and honoured that Lord Coe has agreed to open our new clubhouse and grounds. It has taken over 12 years to achieve but Farnham Rugby Club now has facilities to be rightly proud of'.
'As a club we have over 1000 members and a thriving mini and junior section and we believe our new facilities provide a sporting legacy for the whole community and align completely with Lord Coe's desire to inspire a generation'.
Farnham was former England fly half Jonny Wilkinson's first club and recently made a move to the new site in Monkton Lane due to a huge growth in its youth section.
All is going well the on the field as well with Farnham top of the London and South East Division by 6 points, meaning there will be plenty to celebrate for the club this Sunday.
