THE BATTLE for Redhill Aerodrome is not over.
The Mirror understands aerodrome bosses have today won their appeal against a planning inspector's decision to reject the plans.
Earlier this year, a government planning inspector upheld a decision by Tandridge District Council and Reigate and Banstead Borough Council to reject plans for a new hard runway at the Kings Mill Lane site.
But aerodrome chiefs appealed to the High Court and a judge has apparently accepted the aerodrome's appeal which means a new inquiry could now be held.
Redhill Aerodrome chief executive Ann Bartaby has been contacted for a comment
