A FAMILY solicitor in Reigate has been rewarded for her work advising and supporting separating couples.
Demelza Patricio, a partner at TWM Solicitors, has been awarded the Help and Support for Separated Families quality mark.
The Government introduced the mark in 2013, to help separated parents choose the best professional adviser to work with in the interest of their children.
To gain the award, Mrs Patricio had to undergo an independent assessment.
She said: "I have always believed in helping separating couples reach a constructive and amicable settlement.
"Where couples have children, this is even more important.
"By earning this mark, parents coming to me will know the future and well-being of their children will be of primary importance when it comes to negotiating a settlement that is both acceptable and enduring for both sides."
